Japan Society for Mixed Methods Research (JSMMR) is a scholarly association dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of mixed methods research in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. Mixed methods research is an approach that integrates both quantitative and qualitative methods to gain a more comprehensive understanding of complex phenomena.
As the first academic society for mixed methods research in this region, JSMMR works in close partnership with the Mixed Methods International Research Association (MMIRA) to support a global community of mixed methods scholars.
Bringing together researchers, educators, practitioners, and students from diverse disciplines, JSMMR provides a vibrant community for learning, dialogue, and collaboration across methodological, cultural, and language borders.
We welcome members from all disciplines who are interested in utilizing this innovative approach to generate richer, more impactful research.
